ACGME Annual Educational Conference

March 7-10, 2024
The Rosen Shingle Creek Resort, Orlando, Florida

The ACGME is pleased to invite the graduate medical education (GME) community to the 2024 ACGME Annual Educational Conference, being held at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida, March 7-9, 2024. The Annual Educational Conference, the largest GME conference of its kind, includes a wide selection of curated experiences and content for both seasoned and first-time attendees. In addition, #ACGME2024 will allow participants to network with thousands of GME professionals and changemakers who are shaping the future of academic medicine.

The conference theme of Meaning in Medicine underscores the need for sustaining purpose and joy in work as health care professionals. It is important for leaders, caregivers, and educators to remember the fundamental influences that called them to medicine, with a focus on the central mission to provide the best patient care possible. Continuous dedicated and collaborative efforts of the broad GME community have highlighted the importance of incorporating this message into the education and training of resident and fellow physicians. The ACGME Annual Educational Conference offers the opportunity to lean into this work, while also coming together as a GME community to reflect and realign as colleagues, to serve the public, and to deliver high quality and equitable patient care.

Over three days, conference attendees will dive into educational sessions with stimulating content covering topics including ACGME accreditation and initiatives; diversity, equity, and inclusion; faculty and professional development; well-being; crisis management; assessment; and many other impactful initiatives and issues that appeal and apply to all roles in GME.

For learners, leaders, educators, and visionaries, #ACGME2024 strives to be an environment that welcomes anyone who is passionate about GME and collaboration. Join colleagues at the ACGME’s signature learning event to experience three days of session rooms filled with innovators, collaborators, and forward-thinking topics. The ACGME looks forward to engaging in conversation, building connections, and sparking new ideas in Orlando!
